Takasago Industry Co., Ltd. Selected for METI’s FY2025 Supplementary Budget Subsidy for "Global South Future-Oriented Co-Creation" (Feasibility Study)
Takasago Industry Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Toki City, Gifu Prefecture; President: Tatsuya Suzuki) is pleased to announce that its project—a feasibility study regarding the establishment of a manufacturing base for heat treatment equipment for battery materials in India—has been selected for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s (METI) FY2025 Supplementary Budget Subsidy for "Global South Future-Oriented Co-Creation" (Feasibility Study).
The selected project aims to spearhead the development of a resilient and sustainable battery manufacturing ecosystem in India. Furthermore, through this business expansion, the company intends to create new employment opportunities in Japan (at its headquarters) for R&D and global talent, thereby contributing to the strengthening of domestic industrial competitiveness.
